I have used Hans Kristian as a broker on three occasions. First when we bought a planned detached house in San Pedro del Pinatar in 2017, then when I sold it this winter and now most recently when I bought an apartment in Villajoyosa this autumn. All three trades have gone smoothly. Hans Kristian is a friendly and helpful estate agent who, together with his lawyer and other assistants, takes care of all the formalities and most of the practicalities. Here you get help with much more than you as a Norwegian customer would expect, e.g. establishment of a will, registration in the Spanish personal register (NIE), payment of taxes, submission of tax returns, insurance, electricity and water, even the purchase of furniture and fixtures, and much more. When it comes to the actual selling and buying process, you also get great value for money. There’s no room to mention everything, here are just some of the things that impressed me. Hans Kristian takes an incredible amount of time to help you as a buyer at viewings. For example. we were driven around to a number of relevant properties over three days when we first bought. Without putting any pressure on us to buy, he took his time until we found the perfect property to suit our needs. One thing is that Han Kristian spends a lot of time on the viewing itself, and he also spends several hours showing you around the surrounding area of the properties so that you can assess whether this is an area where you will thrive. When I was selling many years later, I was particularly impressed by the photography. Two photographers spent a couple of hours taking fantastic pictures and an incredibly good video that surpassed anything I’ve ever seen as a broker in Norway. As you know, property prices in Spain are usually fixed without bidding rounds as in Norway. But Soleada is also happy to negotiate on price, so the process is more similar to what we are used to in Norway. Hans Kristian is also an excellent buyer’s agent who will help you find the right property regardless of which company has it for sale. When I recently bought my apartment in Villajoyosa, I sat at home in Norway and left it all to Hans Kristian. It was a refurbishment project, where he negotiated an agreement for refurbishment and rebuilding. When I came down to the takeover, all the work was done as expected. I’ve received help with a lot of the practicalities, such as tips on tradesmen, changing locks, water and electricity meters and much more. If you’re buying or selling on the Mediterranean coast of Spain, I have no doubt that Soleada should be your first choice.
